Collection of Data for the Purposes of Research

MindRhythm, for the purposes of product development and regulatory designations, will collect de-identified data through research coordinators or an online phone application.  All research participants are thoroughly informed and consent to participate in the research.  De-identified data collected through the phone application will be protected by HIPAA compliant cloud-based storage mechanisms.  All de-identified patient data collected by way of research coordinators in paper format will be stored in accordance with HIPAA compliance.  MindRhythm will not sell, distribute or market any de-identified data to any third parties or affiliates.

What is de-identified data

De-identified patient data is health information from a medical record that has been stripped of all “direct identifiers”—that is, all information that can be used to identify the patient from whose medical record the health information was derived.

Collection of Data Through the MindRhythm Phone or tablet Application

MindRhythm does not collect any personal information from the MindRhythm phone or tablet application.  We do not collect any information through cookies, pixels, web beacons, or similar technologies. We will not allow third parties that we hire to perform services or functions on our behalf collect any personal information nor to place cookies on our MindRhythm application. 

Privacy Statement Changes

If we decide to make a significant change to our Privacy Statement, we will post a notice on the homepage of our website for a period of time after the change is made. This privacy statement is dated June 1, 2020.

Security is very important to us. We also understand that security is important to you. We take reasonable steps to protect any personal information provided to MindRhythm via the website from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
